Governance Center participates in preparing a draft of the priorities of the government program
Based on a special invitation from the Government Coordination Department in the Council of Ministers, Governance Center for Public Policies (GCPP) participated in the workshops held by the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers to prepare a draft of the priorities of the government program, on Sunday 20/2/2022 at the headquarters of the Council of Ministers.
This participation came under the initiative of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers to involve research and thought centers in preparing, presenting, and discussing proposals for formulating a draft government program to be submitted by the Prime Minister, who will be assigned.
GCPP center participated in two workshops, namely the energy workshop and the services workshop within the axes of the government program, Dr. Haider Yahya Thamir participated in the energy sector workshop, which reviewed the projects and work plans submitted by the relevant ministries, and discussed the proposals, projects and executive procedures that will be adopted in preparing the priorities of the program government on energy.
On the other hand, Dr. Muntasser Majeed Hameed Al-Eidani Head of (GCPP) participated in the service sector workshop, which reviewed the projects and work plan submitted by the relevant ministries, and also discussed the proposals, projects, and executive procedures that will be adopted in preparing the priorities of the government program on the services sector.
It is noteworthy that GCPP has contributed to submitting the proposal form to the Public Policies Department in the Government Coordination Department, which was included among the most important issues and proposed solutions for the government program.
